Recall or Undo Sent Emails from Gmail




How to Undo Send Emails in your Gmail ?

Sometimes there are so many situations in which we have to undo sent emails due to typo or some other reason. Here is the step by step procedure to undo sent messages.

Step 1 - Open your Gmail account and click on settings [the red marked button shown in figure below] -



Step 2 - Choose settings in the Drop down menu [you will find a window like below]-



in the above window, click on the "setting" tab which is red marked.

Step 3 - After clicking on the "setting" button, you will find a window like that -


in the above window, click on the "Labs" button which is red marked.

Step 4 - After clicking on the "Labs" button, you will find a window like that -




Now in the red marked portion, click on the "Enable"  option and then click on the "save changes" button.

Configure the “Undo” or “Cancellation Period”
Jump back to the General tab and configure the send cancellation period using the drop down arrow. This is the grace period Gmail will give you to undo the send. Again, click save changes to apply your changes.

Test out the feature by sending an email to someone. A subtle popup will appear at the top of your Gmail inbox allowing you to click the Undo button.



Finally your "undo send " option enabled in your Gmail account. and After doing the whole steps which are previously mentioned, when you send a new message then after sending the message successfully to another person, you will get a undo message in your screen. If you want to undo sending message, then click on the undo option then your sent message will be undo.
